About Kung Pao Chicken
Kung Pao chicken (Chinese: 宫保鸡丁), also transcribed as Gong Bao or Kung Po, is a spicy, stir-fried Chinese dish made with chicken, peanuts, vegetables, and chili peppers.
Although the dish is found throughout China, there are regional variations that are typically less spicy than the Sichuan serving. Kung Pao chicken is also a staple of westernized Chinese cuisine.

- Boneless Chicken Breasts – 400 gram (cut into 1 inch)
- Salt to taste
- Soy Sauce – 3 tbsp
- White Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Lemon Juice – 2 tbsp
- Spring Onions White – 3 stalks (chopped)
- Spring Onions Green – 3 stalks (chopped)
- Dried Red Chilies – 6
- Garlic Cloves – 5 (chopped)
- Ginger – 1 inch (chopped)
- Chicken Stock – 1.5 cup
- Sugar – 2 tsp
- Cornflour – 2 tbsp
- Roasted Peanuts – 1/4 cup

Steps to make Kung Pao Chicken
In a bowl take chicken breasts chopped into 1 inch cubes add salt, soy sauce 2 tbsp, white pepper powder 1/2 tsp and lemon juice 1 tbsp. Mix it well and keep aside for 1 hour to marinate.
Take a pan in which add oil 2 tbsp and heat it for a minute, then add chopped white spring onions 3 stalks, dried red chilies broken into half 6, garlic chopped 4 cloves, ginger chopped 1 inch piece and mix it for 2-3 minutes.
Add the chicken into pan and mix it on high heat for 2-3 minutes. Add chicken stock 1.5 cup and cook the chicken well. In a bowl take 2 tbsp of cornflour, 1 tbsp soy sauce, sugar 2 tsp, water 1/2 cup mix it well until it get thick and the sugar dissolve in the water.
Add the mixture of cornstarch in that pan and cook as needed. Add Peanut (roasted), spring onions, lemon juice 1 tbsp mix it well.
